Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Inspection(MPI)

HMP-6000 triple-phase full wave AC-DC fluorescent magnetic particle detector is a kind of fixed
AC-DC multi-function semi-automatic wet fluorescent magnetic particle detection equipment. It is
designed based on principle of magnetization and manufactured according to the standard
requirements of JB/T8290-2011 Magnetic Particle Flaw Detection Machine.

This machine is suitable for non-destructive testing of the surface and near surface of parts made of
ferromagnetic materials such as ring-shaped components in industries such as machinery, automobiles,
aviation, internal combustion engines, and railways. It can detect extremely subtle defects such as cracks
and slag inclusions on the surface and near surface of parts caused by casting, forging, welding,
stretching, quenching, grinding, and fatigue.

Magnetic field lines always maintain their continuity in nature. When the ferromagnetic workpiece
is placed in a saturated magnetic field, the magnetic field lines are guided through the workpiece. If the
magnetic field line encounters discontinuities on the workpiece material (defects such as cracks, slag
inclusion, pores, etc.), and the magnetic field line must bypass these defects in order to maintain its own
continuity.

The machine is a vertically connected structure with mechanical and electrical components, mainly
composed of a DC magnetizing power supply control cabinet, a magnetic yoke device, an AC
magnetizing power supply, a magnetic suspension spraying and recovery system, a platform moving
mechanism, and a pneumatic knife switch magnetizing power supply switching mechanism.
